What happens next
We read every message before the morning session. If you are asking about a lesson, we will confirm availability and suggest a time that matches the tide. For repairs, send a short description of the damage and we will let you know if it can be fixed same day.
Use this form for lesson bookings, equipment hire questions, or to join the coastal newsletter for tide alerts and junior camp dates.
Contact Bale Kami
Whether you need to book a lesson, ask about board repairs, or check the morning surf report, our coastal crew is ready to help. Drop by the kiosk, give us a call, or send a message and we will get back to you before the next tide.
Our on-site shop sits right behind the dune path, a short walk from the main beach entrance. Come in for a board check, rash guard fitting, or a quick chat about today's conditions.
66139 Watson PlazaOpen daily from sunrise to sunset, with extended hours during school holidays.
Prefer to talk things through? Our instructors are on the beach most mornings, so the quickest way to reach us is by phone between 8am and 11am.
For lesson bookings, include your preferred date, skill level, and group size so we can match you with the right instructor.
Lessons run with the tides, so start times shift through the month. Our standard windows are listed below, but always confirm your slot before heading out.
Junior holiday clinics and women-only mornings follow a separate schedule, so check the calendar before booking.
We check messages twice a day, once after the morning sessions and again before closing. Lesson confirmations are sent within a few hours, while board repair quotes usually take a day because we need to inspect the damage first. If you are planning a group visit or a school outing, give us at least a week's notice so we can arrange extra instructors and equipment.
Find us by the shore
We are based along the South African shoreline, right where the sand meets the surf. Whether you are coming for a morning lesson, a board repair, or just to grab a rash guard before your paddle, our team is on site to point you in the right direction.
Follow the coastal road toward the main beach parking lot. Our kiosk sits just behind the lifeguard tower, a short walk across the sand. If you are driving, arrive early during holiday season — the lot fills up quickly before the morning swell.
Our instructors run tidal safety briefings every morning before the first session. If you are new to the area, stop by 15 minutes early and we will walk you through today's conditions — wave height, rip zones, and the best spot to paddle out based on your level.
